Our technological platforms and technical platforms
BIAM’s multidisciplinary research is supported by several platforms, the most successful of which are HELIOBIOTEC, a partner in the IBISA project for microalgal biotechnology, and PHYTOTEC, which has been awarded the IBISA label for plant experiments under controlled conditions.
The Cité des Énergies also supports the ZOOM shared imaging technical platform, and is ramping up two new platforms with PROTEINTEC, which specializes in biochemistry, and IONOTEC, which specializes in ion analysis and dosage.
The entirety of these platforms is part of the network of the 28 technological platforms of IM2B, open to international collaborations. This network aims for a better understanding of the functioning of the diversity of living organisms, particularly in the microbial world. Learn more…
